OUR STORY

From Me to You Ministry was created in 1997 because there was a need.

The first family assisted prior to the start of the ministry had lost everything in a fire. After contacting many friends for much-needed items, donations continued to come in after that family had everything they needed. The founder felt she was led to start the ministry and approached the Pastor at her church, El-Bethel Baptist Church, Minneapolis, MN.

The founder recalls how she was assisted at a time when she had limited resources, and felt the least she could do was help others in unfortunate circumstances. The ministry continues strong today based on the word from Matthew 25:35-36:

"For I was hungry and you fed me; I was thirsty and you gave me water, I was a stranger and you invited me into your homes; naked and you clothed me; sick and in prison, and you visited me."

Giving back to others helps us remember how very blessed we are.
